Haad Thian

Haad Thian, next to Had Yuan, is probably not as visually impressive as Thong Nai Pan or Bottle Beach, since it is a little bit too rocky; but it does offer its visitors something you can’t get in any other beach: the advanced alternative health services, courses and activities. This small idyllic beach features only few bungalows, but it has a unique new age ambience, thanks to the alternative community that had put down its roots in Haad Thian, and to the famous Sanctuary – the widely known wellness center in Koh Phangan. During the last decade, this place turned into a pulling focus for people looking for a healthy peaceful way of life.

Haad Thian can be reached by boat or by mountain trekking (recommended to experienced climbers only).
